Interior
Our standard preparation for interior painting jobs consist of covering all furniture with new plastic covers and all floors with drop cloths; patch any existing holes, stress cracks or nail pops; hand sanding patched areas or rough surfaces; caulking windows, doors, and baseboards; and applying a finish coat to contracted areas. If you would like additional work done, such as hanging chair rail, please let the estimator know so can price accordingly.
Exterior
Our standard preparation for a exterior job consists of scraping all loose paint, sanding any rough areas, caulking windows, door frames, or any other trim, spot priming any areas that go to raw wood, and applying a finish coat. If you see any rotten wood that may need replacing prior to painting, please point it out to the estimator at the time of the estimate.
